Sookie Stackhouse Series

Dead But Not Forgotten: Stories from the World of Sookie Stackhouse
“Unseen adventures that give Sookie’s world a little more complexity and depth […] They’re entertaining and sometimes revelatory. In some ways, this feels like a farewell tour of the series, involving a jam session with top-notch musicians.”

Publishers Weekly

“Wildly entertaining […] Fifteen stories, cleverly and humorously written, shed light on several secondary characters who are as diverse as can be, from witches to werewolves, to Sookie’s own grandmother. Crisp storytelling, sharp dialogue and great pacing are the highlights of what, for Sookie fans, will be an anthology to die for.”

RT Book Reviews

“This new compilation with stories featuring Sookie’s world is a must-read […] The stories are a proper addition to Sookie’s world of make believe as her character is always standing in the background, always on the fringe of each and every story as it’s told. A great mix of funny and dark, this anthology will have readers and fans beyond excited.”

Suspense Magazine

“Anyone who loves Charlaine Harris’s Sookie Stackhouse characters will love these fantastic short stories […] Truly, reading this book brought some of these characters into a new light. Absolutely awesome book.”

Night Owl Reviews

“Many of these stories are outstanding—providing a new look at minor characters or adding depth to the backstories of major characters […] it’s a nice collection and a great premise.”

Fang-tastic Fiction

“DEAD BUT NOT FORGOTTEN is the perfect book for anyone who loves the Sookie Stackhouse series. Edited by Charlaine Harris, the tales allow insight into what has been happening to characters from the series, either while the spotlight was on Sookie’s adventures or after the spotlight faded […] If you’re a fan of the Sookie Stackhouse series and not quite ready to let the end be the end, DEAD BUT NOT FORGOTTEN is a must-read.”

Dark Matter Zine

“If you’re a fan of Sookie or any of the other people in her universe, you might want to pick up this book. It’s a great extension to the series that extends their stories without messing around with any of the canon.”

Reading Through Life

”A celebration of the world loved by the writers, and their joy at stepping into Harris’ prodigious shoes is palpable […] If you’re looking to spend a few more hours in Sookie’s world, I think this is a great little collection.”

Liberty Falls Down

“What a delicious blend there is. Not only do we get to see the world through the eyes of some of the big players in Sookie Stackhouse’s world; Alcide, Eric Northman, Pam – but we get welcomed into the lives of the smaller players too – and this is where the magic occurs […] Each story is fantastically written as well as woven seductively around the other main characters in Bon Temps and Shreveport. Overall I am giving DEAD BUT NOT FORGOTTEN 5 out of 5 stars.”

Rachel Tsoumbakos, author of Emeline and the Mutants

Anthologies

Games Creatures Play
“I know many will love every single story in the book. So if a shock, a scare a little fright, something to get the pulse racing is what you enjoy […] well this is the anthology for you.”

Parmenion Books

“Its fun, has some cracking play on games and how the “creatures” unwind and all round gives the reader a short stories that they can dive into during journeys or lunch breaks to get away from the real world. As usual the talent within is top notch and when edited by two top notch names in the genre, all round gives it a seal of quality that you can’t ignore. Great stuff.”

Falcata Times

“Harris’s story is a Sookie Stackhouse tale, nestled closely into the True Blood universe and its existing characters and mythos. It works nicely as a stand alone, whilst enticing a captured reader deeper into the bigger picture.”
