The series launched in August in Canada on City TV and Space, and overseas launches follow in Germany, Italy and many other markets. On the Web: You can still head on over to www.lifetimetv.com/shows/bloodties/ for all kinds of goodies, and download episodes from I-Tunes!, and also visit Tanya's Livejournal: http://andpuff.livejournal.com/tag/blood+ties.
The August 9th issues of Hollywood Reporter and Variety (view article) have reported that HBO has made the official announcement regarding "True Blood", the TV series based on Charlaine Harris' bestselling Sookie Stackhouse series. Rumor has it the initial order will be for 13 episodes and filming began October 8, 2007. And on YouTube, there's a nifty HBO preview trailer for 2008. True Blood has a lovely 3 second cameo at around 1:45 into it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XB8k58UTnqo.
